Deploy Meta-Modelling Tool

What is a project?

You have to create a project if you want to develop or publish a modelling tool. A project is basically a site where you can provide information, links and downloads for other people interested in you project. Further, people can enter you team and contribute to your project.

Where is the Project visible?

The visibility of your project depends on the project site where you create the project. E.g.: if you host your project on the European Project Site then your project will be visible only on the European Project Site.

How do I make the project globally visible?

In your project settings you can request to make your project globally visible. The project will be checked and made globally available.

Why do you check the project before it is globally visible?

We want to ensure that all projects are "ongoing" and have a high quality.

OMiLAB itself does not provide a modelling platform and indeed it is not necessary: There are several platforms whcih allow you creating a modelling tool. One possible platform is ADOxx, which is free to use for research and academic teaching purposes.

Find tools which help you realizing your projects. In our tool repository we offer several tools which support effective modelling tool creation and extension of your modelling method. The GraphRep Generator and the Model Annotator are two examples which you can find in our tool repository.

  • GraphRep is a language for creating symbols in ADOxx. The GraphRep Generator is a tool which allows you creating symbols without any experiences with GraphRep.
  • The Model Annotator allows you to assign meta-information (annotations) to model elements which help you to enrich models.

You can also add tools for other users!
